Your Arcadia Dog Deserves the Best Grooming Experience

If you live in the Arcadia neighborhood, you already know how much this community loves its pets. Dog owners here are active, style-conscious, and genuinely devoted to their furry companions. That is exactly why dog grooming in Arcadia has become such a priority for local pet families.

At Lugari Pet Salon, we believe every pet deserves celebrity care. Our Scottsdale salon is just minutes from Arcadia, making it easy to treat your pup to a truly premium grooming experience. Whether your dog needs a simple bath or a full signature style, we are here to help.

Founded by master groomer Ivan Lugo — who has been styling pets since 1998 — Lugari Pet Salon brings decades of expertise to every appointment. We opened our doors in August 2017, and we have been pampering Scottsdale-area pets ever since.

What Makes Luxury Dog Grooming Different?

Standard grooming gets the job done. Luxury grooming, however, goes several steps further. It combines skilled technique, premium products, and a calm and caring environment for your pet.

At Lugari Pet Salon, we tailor every service to your dog’s specific breed, coat type, and personality. Because of this, your dog always leaves looking and feeling their very best.

Signature and Japanese-Style Haircuts

Our stylists are trained in both the signature Lugari style and Japanese-style grooming. Japanese grooming is a popular technique known for its soft, rounded silhouettes and precise scissor work. It gives dogs an adorable, almost plush-toy appearance.

Additionally, our Lugari signature style brings out each dog’s natural beauty with custom cuts suited to their coat and body shape. We treat every grooming session like a runway moment for your pet.

Hair Coloring for Dogs

Want to take your dog’s look to the next level? We also offer pet-safe hair coloring services. These are a fun and creative way to celebrate your pup’s personality. Moreover, all color products we use are gentle and formulated specifically for pets.

Manicures, Pedicures, and Nail Polish

Your dog’s paws deserve attention too. We offer full nail care services including manicures, pedicures, and even nail polish. First, we trim and file the nails to a safe and comfortable length. Then, we add a stylish finishing touch if you choose.

Regular nail care is especially important for dogs in the Scottsdale area. Hot pavement and desert terrain can wear down paw pads quickly. Therefore, keeping nails trimmed protects your dog’s comfort and gait.

Bath and Brush Services for Arcadia Dogs

Arizona’s warm desert climate is tough on pet coats. Hot summers, dry air, and outdoor activity can lead to dull fur, skin irritation, and heavy shedding. Because of this, regular bathing and brushing is one of the best things you can do for your dog’s coat health.

Our bath and brush service includes a thorough shampoo, conditioning treatment, blow-dry, and brush-out. We use products suited to your dog’s coat type. As a result, your pup leaves clean, fluffy, and smelling amazing.

De-Shedding Treatments

Many Arcadia dog owners also struggle with shedding season. Double-coated breeds like Huskies, Labs, and Golden Retrievers can shed heavily during seasonal transitions. Furthermore, the desert heat can make shedding feel like it never stops.

Our de-shedding treatments help remove loose undercoat before it ends up all over your furniture. In addition, these treatments promote healthier skin and a shinier topcoat. We recommend them especially during the warmer months in the greater Scottsdale area.

A Calm and Caring Environment for Every Dog

We understand that not every dog loves the grooming salon. Some dogs feel anxious around new sounds, smells, and strangers. Therefore, we prioritize a calm and gentle experience for every pet that comes through our doors.

Ivan Lugo and our team take the time to introduce each dog to the grooming process slowly and with patience. We never rush. Moreover, we believe that clear communication with pet owners is key to making every session a success.

Puppy’s First Grooming Experience

Is your Arcadia puppy ready for their first grooming appointment? Starting early is one of the best things you can do for your pup. Early grooming visits help young dogs get comfortable with handling, sounds, and the overall salon environment.

We offer gentle introductory grooming sessions designed specifically for puppies. As a result, your puppy builds positive associations with grooming from the very start. This makes future appointments much easier and more enjoyable for everyone.

Pet Pampering Beyond the Basics

At Lugari Pet Salon, grooming is just one part of the experience. We also offer full pet pampering packages that combine multiple services into one luxurious visit. Think of it as a spa day designed just for your dog.

Meanwhile, we also host pet events such as parties and grooming workshops. These are a wonderful way to connect with other Arcadia and Scottsdale pet owners. Our Sunday special events are a favorite among local dog lovers.

Dog Daycare and Socialization

Looking for more than grooming? We also offer dog daycare and socialization services. Socialization is incredibly important for a well-balanced, happy dog. Furthermore, regular interaction with other dogs in a supervised setting builds confidence and reduces anxiety.

Our daycare environment is warm, welcoming, and designed with safety in mind. Dogs from Arcadia, Paradise Valley, Phoenix, and the greater Scottsdale area all enjoy a social and stimulating day with us.

Frequently Asked Questions About Luxury Dog Grooming

How often should I bring my dog in for grooming?

It depends on your dog’s breed and coat type. Generally, most dogs benefit from professional grooming every four to six weeks. However, dogs with longer or thicker coats may need more frequent visits. Your groomer can recommend a schedule based on your dog’s specific needs.

What is Japanese-style dog grooming?

Japanese-style grooming is a technique that creates soft, rounded shapes using precise scissor work. It gives dogs a fluffy, almost toy-like appearance. This style is especially popular for breeds like Poodles, Bichons, Shih Tzus, and Doodles.

Is hair coloring safe for my dog?

Yes, when done correctly with pet-safe products. We only use coloring formulas specifically designed for pets. Additionally, our experienced stylists know how to apply color gently without causing stress or discomfort to your dog.

Do you groom anxious or nervous dogs?

Absolutely. We work patiently with dogs of all temperaments. Our team uses gentle handling techniques to help nervous dogs feel more at ease. We also recommend letting us know about your dog’s anxiety ahead of time so we can plan the best approach.

Can I bring my dog in from outside of Scottsdale?

Of course! We welcome dogs from Arcadia, Paradise Valley, Tempe, Mesa, Phoenix, and beyond. Our location on E Thomas Rd is easy to access from across the Valley. We would love to meet your pup no matter where you are coming from.
